JOE WAGNER ART

Let me start by saying that I have always been a huge fan of anime and it has always been an inspiration for my work.  I have been making art my whole life.  It started as drawing ninja turtles and video game characters as a kid, then turned into more anime drawings in high school.  After taking every art elective my high school had to offer, I went on to the University of Minnesota to get my Bachelor Degree in art, followed by my teaching license and Master's of Art Education.

 

I am currently an art instructor, yearbook adviser, and anime club adviser at Brainerd High School in Brainerd, MN.  I have been teaching since 2007 and I enjoy being able to do what I love and still create artwork of my own.  I have sold numerous artworks at conventions and enjoy showing my work every year.  If you have gone to Anime Detour, it is likey you have seen my work on display in the silent auction art show.
